Soda Making - Making the batch

Hi everyone! Sorry about the delay in getting this up. We have been very busy at ClickPopMedia, a lot of exciting things going on. To make it up to you, I have decided to finish it all up, and give you the rest of the soda making experience in one big post.

For those of you that missed my last post, I love making soda, and I decided to share this experience with all of you. This post will be on making the batch of soda, and to wrap things up I will also describe the kegging process.

Soda Making - Equipment and Preparation

Over the next 3 weeks I will be taking a break from my programming tutorials to do a 3 part series on soda making. Homemade soda is a great alternative to mass-produced soda that is packed full of preservatives and strange chemicals that wreck havoc on your body. I should know, I drink a lot of it. I will be walking you through the process I go through when I create soda. Today we go over the equipment used in homemade soda making, and the preparation process.

Snip-O-Code: Arduino Samples!

Originally I was going to kick things off with a "Website Dynamics" tutorial, but I couldn’t stop thinking about this awesome ‘thingy’ I just made with my new Arduino board. The whole project only took me about 2 hours… with soldering and coding.

"So what is Arduino?" you ask.  Arduino is an open source electronics platform with various inputs and outputs. There are many similar platforms to this one, but I personally liked the name ‘Arduino’ best.  It is programmed using a C based language, and it’s multiple inputs and outputs allow for a wide variety of applications.
