This morning Paul and I, along with my brothers Graham and Reid, helped our friend Jeshua out with a photography project he was working on. The premise is this: ninjas are fed up with being second class citizens and the ninjas union has called a strike. Along comes a scurvy pirate scab and a tense standoff ensues.

So this is officially my “third” oil paining…but when it’s done, I will have six oil paintings under my oily painted belt. (Yea, it’s a messy belt, but somebody has to wear it) Usually I work with spray paint, and latex…But I’m getting into the whole “artist” end of paint.

This piece was my wife’s idea, and we’ll be hanging it in our new place. The boss man, VQ, wants me to post on it as it progresses. I hope you dig it as much as I do, and since I have no background in oil painting, save the Bob Ross TV Show that I watched as a child…I pray it turns out well.
