We have some very cool vectors this week people. When we’re not on ClickPop, Weese and I rock out in the band Universal Royalty. As such, we thought we’d bring you guys some vectors themed around “recording.”
Weese and I have been in England since Thursday, so we thought we’d offer you a little UK treat. Have fun with the UK, Big Ben, a British bobby, a double decker bus, and an english phonebooth. We’ll be back in the States on Monday.
Weese and I flying to England today. In honor of our flight, we have a special vector pack for. It comes complete with 1 plane, 4 clouds, and a weird sun/moon/stars combo.
On a side note, our vectors have been reasonably successful so far, and we’re very happy with that. We would really love some feedback from you guys. Please! Don’t make us beg (again)! COMMENT US!
Attention: Our Relief vector pack is up on a really awesome vector image site called Vecteezy. We’re pretty happy to be in the company of the other designers that are featured there. Head on over and vote for us if you appreciate what we do.
Last May I traveled to Swaziland, Africa with Weese, his family, and some friends. We were in a town called Bulembu, which was being built up as a refuge from the country’s abuse, disease, and poverty. We went to serve and worship with the people, but we ended up more served and changed than our new Swazi friends.
Have fun with these vectors. If you make anything particularly world shaking, let us know.
For a particularly harrowing tale, complete with cows, cliffs, and a brown crocodile, check this out: The Fantastic Voyage of Juan
While we were in Bulembu, we had the chance to meet a ton of cool kids, most of them orphans. The HIV prevalence rate for 20 – 30 year olds in Swaziland is almost 50%, and there are 100,000 orphans in Swaziland out of a total population of a little more than 1,000,000 people. This here is a video some of our little friends singing a song in Siswati.
Today we launch our new blog lineup. In honor of this august occasion, we’re also releasing a little megaphone vector. We’ve been giving you these free resources for quite some time, and now we’re asking for something in return (with great power comes great responsibility you know). We’re asking you to do a composition using the ClickPop vectors themed around “ClickPopHello.” Sorry, there’s no prize for this one other than the warm, fuzzy feeling you will get knowing that you made us smile. Head on over to the ClickPopMedia Flickr group and join in.
